Development of the Pleasant Hill Road Shared Pathway between Mount Diablo Boulevard and Acalanes High School.
Project Benefits
This dedicated pathway creates:
- A safer way for our kids to travel to and from Acalanes High School
- Healthier families and safer neighborhoods
- Reduced traffic congestion along Pleasant Hill Road
- Lower car emissions and air pollution in Lafayette
- An incentive for people to walk, bike and leave their cars at home
- A connection to the Lafayette-Moraga Regional Trail
